Drl issue help!!!
The car I have is a 2007 Honda accord ex-l v6 The other day I went to the store and when I got back I noticed my highbeams were stuck on even with the car off so I took the fuse out for them so I didn’t drain the battery. Then the other day I noticed one of the day time running lights wasn’t working and the drl was on the dash. I bought another at advanced auto and it didn’t fix the issue. I can’t seem to figure it out. I hope someone can help me out!!

I bought sylvania 9006 basic. They told me that it would work with my day time running lights. And the high beams are stuck on whether the car is running or off. And I forgot to mention both high beam lights work. I figured you should know because they run off the day time running lights. Which I can’t understand because one drl won’t turn on.
The problem won't be the bulbs since they are turning on. You have to figure out what is commanding power. It is either the DRL control unit, or the relay control module in the engine bay fuse box.
The simplest test is to unplug the DRL control unit and see if your highbeams work normally. The DRL control unit is under the driver's dash near/behind the VSA/Moonroof switch.
Go to youtube and find "How to Replace Multi-Purpose Relay 2003-2007 Honda Accord". You may only need to remove the bottom panel to access. @1min 23 seconds in the video, I think the DRL control moudule is just to the right of the letter Q in TRQ in the upper left corner of the video. You can look on ebay for the DRL module as well to see what it looks like.
If your state doesn't require DRL to be working for an inspection, then you can leave it unplugged to pass your inspection. That is if unplugging the DRL temporarily fixes the problem.
