Default Dw-1 2007 honda accord V6

I'm new to this forum so please no hardships. Today, I did a transmission drain and fill on Honda/Acura DW-1 fluid. I am at 111k miles and my fluid was black. Istant difference. Way smoother and I can tell there is way less friction modifier in the dw1 compared to the z1 that most likely was in there already. I have done 2 drain and fills and such a great big difference. I would like to try redline eventually but never race fluid.

I moved your post to a more appropriate forum. Read posting rules.

Honda ATF has proven to be an essential component to maintain performance in Honda AT's.

Thansk for Post and Welcome to HAF!

Thanks. I am literally new to this and not much of an idea of where to post it either. Can you send me the link to the new area you put it in.

TX moved this to "general tech".

Again, I would not use the "redline" in the trans. Honda's seem picky about their trans fluid. I can't even count the number of threads I've read with people having issues after using "something else"......
