Echlin Injector Cleaning
Ok...
So I have a NAPA Echlin fuel injector cleaning system. I have used it on just about every vehicle I have owned and have been able to figure out how it works on a few others. But I am haveing a problem using it on my 96 Accord.
Here is a pdf of the manual: http://www.napaechlin.com/web_app/Cl...cleen_2006.pdf
If you look on page 173-174 (method 2) you will see the instructions for that version of Honda MPFI. I followed the instructions as it said and the only way I could disable the fuel pump was to pull the fuse in the in-cab fuse box. But when I try to start the car, it just turns over and doesnt start. I tried different pressures in the range it gives but to no avail.
Any ideas? [sm=smiley5.gif]

RE: Echlin Injector Cleaning
The fuel pressure on a 95 accord should be 42 psi without the regulator and 33 with the pressure regulator working. Just by reading the pdf you posted, you hookup the injector cleaner to the fuel rail and allow the injector cleaner to be the fuel for the engine.
The fuel pressure regulator might be allowing the injector cleaner to return to the gas tank. You might want to unplug the vac hose to the pressure regulator.
