I apologize for adding another EGR help thread, but hopefully someone can diagnose my problem. I know deserthonda posts some steps to diagnose the problem, but I don't have a vacuum gage.

Car is a '95 Accord LX

I have replaced the EGR valve and cleaned the ports and reset ECU. Check engine light still comes on. But what I noticed is it comes on when the car is still cold. When I start driving when theengine is still warm or when I let the car warm up to normal operating temperature, then the light doesn't come on.

So it only comes on when I drive for a little and the engine is still cold. I'm hoping someone can maybe diagnose what is wrong with this situation. It is so cold up here in Michigan and I don't have a garage to work in....been doingrepairoutside apartment parking lot. And it's getting so cold now and I hope maybe I can get a diagnosis so I don't have to be out in the freezing temps figuring out the problem.
