do not buy the egr valve by itself,,,,,,,,,,get the kit as per bulletin,, it is way cheaper

clean the ports, replace the valve as per write up on our DIY section \

if you do the job, no need to replace the planum gasket it should not tear, use regular carb cleaner to clean the port

Hi deserthonda.. I checked for the price of just the EGR valve and its $70 while for the EGR kit it is $110.

And I remember you mentioned that it is not necessary to drill the hole but just cleaning would be sufficient.

So whats the deal I am going to get by buying a EGR kit? you mean something got to do with genuine OEM part stuff??

Where did you find the EGR valve for 70? The Honda dealership quoted me 245.00

Also, I've read around, and the EGR Pipe Kit P/N 06175-P8C-A01 (EGR valve, EGR valve gasket, Intake Throttle gasket, and Stainless Steel Pipe for EGR port) goes for 95.00. The EGR Pipe Installation Kit T/N 07ZAD-P8AA000 (EGR Pipe Install Tool and Drill Bit) goes for 85.00. I'm not sure if these kits still cost the same since most of the posts I've read are from 2005-2008.
