Default EGR Valve replacement

I have a 2000 Honda Accord SE with a 4 cyl. engine. The "check engine" light was on when I bought the car used and the Honda dealer told me I needed to replace the EGR valve. I did that myself and took the steps recommended to reset the system. After driving the car 20 minutes the "check engine" light came back on. The parts store where I purchased the EGR valve did a diagnosis and saidthe error code was P0401 - EGR insufficient flow detected. Any suggestions?

Default RE: EGR Valve replacement

you ned to clean the egr ports,, depending on the miles on the car, if below 80,000.. , it should be covered by Honda , also show them the receipt that you bought the egr valve as they suggested , you might get your money back
