Engine code change

Default Engine code change

Whats up everyone.. I just bought a 96 accord EX.. i love the car.. its great. i just have one question.. how do i change the code to start my engine.. its still the code of the previous owners. any help would be appriciated.. thanks..

there is a feature in the car that doesn't allow you to start the engine without punching in a code.. anti theft device.

u stick the key in the ignition and punch in the code.. then start the engine...

i would like to kno how to change that code..

Sounds like it could be equated to keyless entry doorlocks.... which most of those require the dealer to set/reset them... so my guess would be you're going to have to go to a dealer to have it changed.

i called customer service and they said it was an accesory or separate piece.. damn..
