Engine Hesitation 2011 Accord V6 Coupe EX-L

zgforging,
Sorry it's taken so long to post back on this but I'll be damned. I think you may have hit the nail on the head with that left foot on the gas pedal thing. And you're right, all it takes is very little pressure on the brake pedal so that when it happens you don't even know your doing it. You da man.
Thanks,
Robert

not happy
accord v6 in shop right now for same hesitation problems everyone else is having. it's about a dozen times this has happened since I bought accord new in nov. 2011. I am to the point now of sheer terror every time I turn into traffic. I only use my right foot for gas and brake. Has anyone been able to fix this problem. Here again the techs are baffled at Honda also.

poorman212 didn't know about vcm fouling plugs. accord only has 19000 miles on it. should this be something to tell to the honda techs. as it stands right now they have the car and I have a loner till it's fixed. at least they are trying to find out what's wrong.

I'm having the same problem with my 2012 XE L V6. It occurs 1 in 10 times or less. Sometimes once on my way to work sometimes once per week. It's potentially dangerous when turning left across traffic when you can't rely on the car to accelerate when required. My wife won't drive it with the grand kids on board.

hesitation
I have a 2012 Honda Accord I also experienced the same problem. Went to Honda place they couldn't make it do it. So after going back again they still didn't know. Went another time and some big wheel was there and he told me what the problem was.It is a safety feature when your foot is by the brake or you touch the brake it will hesitate. Now I drive with one foot and I have no problem. No one at the service dept. or Honda place knew it.
