I have 2005 Accord. Going up hills from LA to Fresno, engine light start blinking. After the hill it went off. Two month later going through the same route engine light came on and stayed on. Dealer checked it and could not find anything wrong, he said I must have had miss fire. Recommended to use better gas. I use Unocal grade 89. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

 

if the chk engine lite came on,, it should have stored a code..........what code did dealer said it was ??

car is under warranty stay on top of it ..

 

Do you live in LA? I have a code reader, and i'll do it for free so that you'll have the code and you'll know the problem.
