Default Engine Oil Leak Dye Kit

Hello,

Has anyone used a dye kit to locate oil leaks? If so, could you tell me about the one you used? Trying to find the source of a leak but rather than cleaning the engine and then having to keep checking to see if I can find where the oil is leaking from, think it might be easier to use dye. There are so many choices online however, thought I would ask here first. Thanks for your help!

I haven't used one, but I'd recommend cleaning up the oil anyway. If you don't, then I think the dye can quickly spread out through the old oil and make it harder to pinpoint the leak.

I've used oil dye and light to find a leak which took me a while to do on a 08 TL. Clean the engine first it will save you a lot of time
