Default 2007 Accord V6 SE High Mount Brake Light

Hello,

The high mount brake light on my 2007 stopped working. Checked all the fuses and everything looks good. Wondering if someone can direct me to the wiring diagram for the light and perhaps a trouble shooting guide? It doesn't look like you can change the LED lights on this so before buying another one wanted to trouble shoot the circuit. The other brake lights work fine. Thanks!

To test, you would disconnect the connector to the high mount brake light.

Use a multi-meter, test light, or voltmeter to test.

Red test lead to power terminal. Black test lead to ground terminal or chassis ground.

With the brake pedal depress, there should be power at the Wht/Blk (white colored wire with blk stripe) wire terminal of the harness connector. First check with red test lead on Wht/Blk terminal and black test lead on Blk wire terminal. If there is no power measurement with the black test lead on the blk wire terminal, then change the black test lead to touch chassis ground to see if there is a difference.
