Default Engine oil level in Honda Accord 1998

Greetings to you all. Please i want to find out the position of engine oil level on the dipstick. I believe the engine oil level should be between the lower and upper marker. Is there any implication/consequences if the engine oil level is above the upper marker? Each time i passes through pot holes or turn the steering i use to hear kinky sound, i have to replace the upper and lower ball joints and the sound is gone now. The only serious issue i am having now is the leaking AC gas. We are still looking for the leaking spot. I just filled it yesterday and the gas went out. Hope to hear from you- DR.RIDLEY

Slight overfill (1/8" or less) is not a problem. Many times oil change facility will slightly overfill.

If necessary due to gross overfill, you can remove oil w/ a 1/4" tube down the dipstick and siphon the excess oil. Verrrry slow siphon will take perhaps an hr to siphon 1/2 qt. I use air pump vacuum fitting to initiate the siphon.

good luck
