Engine problems that'll drive a man crazy

So I have a 92 accord that i'm trying to get started. I have replaced: fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, coil, distributor, ecu; checked and i have good spark on all plugs, also know that fuel is getting to cylinders. The only way we've gotten it to start is to manually retard the distributor about 15 degrees and then when the car starts, move the distributor back. Any ideas?
I would check all the fuses and look for the one to the ECU.
Also, check that your grounds are clean and secure in the engine. There is one on or near the thermostat housing.

You have replaced a lot of items, so lets just check the basics to get a car to run: Fuel, spark, compression, timing.
Fuel pressure should be tested with a gauge hooked up to the rail. Also, hook up a test light to the connector for each fuel injector. It should flash when you are trying to start the car.
For spark, a good spark would flash the light.
I would also turn the crankshaft to TDC and check that the camshaft timing marks are lined up.
Also check the compression on each cylinder.
