Ok, I have done some b16/b18 tops and bottoms, even got a d15 in my CRX, I am at a loss here on this car, it has a SOHC engine in it with VTEC on valve cover hood has been replaced so no emmision sticker ethier, what size it is I think 2.2 but I am only aware of H22 I am not at all familar with this model or chassie code, any help be great. As I am asking for information I am looking to do some small add wheels, intake, so on I have 97 Accord EX 4 wheels disc, gold color, alloys and so on. Thanks in advance for information.

Cool man thank you alot, now I can look for some stuff going to replace timing belt and others, probaly water pump, want to install a new adjustable cam gear and maybe a cam.. I am not sure on what just yet, thank you again.
The engine code is stamped on the block near the top coolant hose that runs into the top of the radiator. If it's a 5th gen (94-97), it's either an F22B1 (VTEC), F22B2 (No VTEC), or C27 (2.7L V6)
he said its SOHC, its stock, its a F22B1 aka 2.2l(if you havent figured out honda engine codes by now). And it is stamped right on the front of the block, right where the transmission bolts up.
