Thanks for the direction, Texas. I took a look and both of my motor mounts are bad. If you have any advice/direction on replacing that back one, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I had another issue appear over the last week ... I'm going to put it here instead of posting a new thread and see if I can get advice. I think my alternator is going out. My battery light has intermittent flickering with the occasional solid light. I got it to go off a few times by checking/tightening the connections. Today, however, I had someone that could sit in the car. When the car was started, the light was on. Messing with the connections did nothing. I tapped the alternator with a hammer and the light went off and the rpm's went down simultaneously. Does this sound like a bad alternator?

Thanks

Does sound like the alternator. It may just require replacement of the alternator brush pack. See thread:

Well if you want to replace your alternator I have 2 good working ones here.
Depending on your location I could sell you one and including shipping still make you a good deal.
PM me if interested.

The rear motor mount is a challenge. Here's what I remember.

1) Elevate front end on secure jack stands as high as possible.
2) Remove 4 base bolts holding the mount from topsides and remove nut from center of mount.
3) Remove LF CV axle, oil filter, and remove intake manifold brace.
4) Remove motor mount overhead bracket from engine (3 bolts?).
5) Remove motor mount. Vacuum line will be attached and must be released (can be challenging, I cut my short)

good luck

Thank you for the offer, Crispin. It turns out that my brush assembly was bad and a replacement took care of the battery light without having to replace the alternator.

Texas, thank you very much for the info. It'll probably be a little bit before I can tackle that job but I really appreciate the direction.

Thank you to everyone that helped me get to a resolution.
