exhaust diy complete system?
1991 accord wagon EX, manual, 2.2L......planned for COMPLETE overhaul
Can find NO complete exhaust kits (minus header) but only a borsal cat. convert. (not sure if it would even pass emissions?) for this wagon (strangely the lx seems to have more parts avail.?)
Have a torch (a/c-heat guy) , but wouldn't there be a place I could go with orig. exhaust and have them copy it? bend it? and I could piece together and install?
I doubt midas would co-operate but maybe you (of course you do!) have better suggestions?
not too many bends overall but there are some seriously squirrely bends at end/back muffler

RE: exhaust diy complete system?
you should be able to get a local shop to make you one, chances are you'll have better luck getting it done (and cheaper) if you avoid a large "chain" type exhaust shop.... Either that or buy some headers and a catback system, it would use your stock cat converter, if you're in CA you may want to ask the sellers if it will pass emissions.....

RE: exhaust diy complete system?
Yup, thanks. One thing i noticed was there are cat. convt's on ebay for 12 bux...?? and i imagine they aren't anything but racing cats (nothing inside) but some on speedyparts for about $100 and oems for 550!
planning on the $100 and just piecing together pipe for overall fit.
anyway, this leads to new question about o2 sensor.....
