Hi guys. I've dabbled in engine and tranny swaps for a couple years now just getting ideas on what I would do if I had the money and time, so I kinda have some idea on my question but I need some reassurance here. I'm selling a F22b1 out of an automatic 97 Accord. The guy wanting to buy it would like to put the whole engine or maybe just the tranny into his 2000 Accord. Is it possible to just drop n go or is he going to need to do something to the wiring if he uses the whole engine? I have searched and I cannot seem to find the exact info on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

It is def not drop in at all.
The motor in the 6 gen is a 2.3L not a 2.2L
the computer and wiring would not be the same.
I have never heard of anyone putting a 2.2 in a 6 gen.
