Default F22b2 to F22b1 swap no spark

I am newish to Accords, but not Hondas. We ended up buy a 97 with a F22b2, that came with a F22b1 swap which we put in. Ended up converting to OBD1, distributor and ecu. Using a rywire harness for both. Car turns over, is getting fuel, but no spark. Tried plugging in our scan tool, and it does not read the ecu. Fuses in the engine bay look good. Getting power to the distributor, but no spark. I'm stumped right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just a guess...

-if you are getting power to the distributor, but no spark...

Your ignition coil might be bad? Rotor is missing, etc....

We used the original coil, one that came with the car, and a 3rd which we got from a running car. Still no spark. Also have power going to the DLC, but will not read the ecu.

I think your OBD-1 ECU will not communicate the same way, even when it's wired up to the OBD-2 DLC.

Yeah I was thinking that. So now we have spark, but still not turning over. Have fuel, have spark, turns over, so maybe timing? Going to look at that next.

Took out the main relay to test it, pulled fuses to check again, and disconnected and reconnected the harness for the ecu. Something must have been loose. Found that timing is off, so in process of adjusting in.

Ended up that timing was off on the belt end, and also on the distributor. Set the timing correct, and rotated the wires around. Now I have it running! Thanks for the input!
