a few questions regarding my 95 av6,help please
hello,i have a 95 accord v6..
i have a few questions so ill post them in numerical order..lol
1.can i use coilovers/lowering springs that are made for 4cyl for my 6cyl?(i read i can,to just lower it more but im not sure).
2.are the trunk lids different in the 4cyl than the 6cyl? because i know the hood is longer in the v6.just not sure bout the trunk.
3.mufflers and catbacks...they say their universal fit.does that mean it can be installed with no metal work? or should i take em to a shop to do the install?
any info is great thank you

For#1. Not really sure. You may want to post in the suspension forum for a better answer.
For #2, I would look on a site like hondapartsnow.com for the trunk lid for the 4 cylinder and the 6 cylinder and see if they have the same OEM part number.
For #3, I would assume that direct fit means there would be no metal work. Not sure what would have to be done for a universal fit.

1) the weight difference between the v6 and 4 cyl is where the issue comes in. Springs have "rates", so stock 4 cyl springs on a v6....well they will not be able to hold the wieght....
3) In my life, "universal" fit means there is some "work" involved.......a "universal" O2 comes with four wires and no plug, you have to cut and splice the correct wires.
