Default Flashing green light

I'm helping a friend with a '91 Accord EX auto and now i've got the front end and the new fuel pump sorted i'm trying to get some of the lights on her instrument panel to go away.
I have a "17" flash on the "check engine" light and that's a VSS but the one that's got me stumped is the green flashing light in the centre of the panel with an "S" in it.
Anyone could help me out?

Cheers

the "S" light is for the transmission. the 90-91's use an "S" the 92-93's use the light around the "D4" to tell you what the code is. it is checked in the same way that you check your "check engine" light.
