Default Front Brakes Disc thickness

Does anyone have a link or info to the wear limit of front brake discs in a 2000 4-cyl accord sedan?

The 98-00 manual and my 05 TSX manual have the same limit. 1.6 mm (0.06 inches). There should be an indicator wear tab at that depth.

Default Minimum front rotor disc thickness

What I'm asking is what is the minimum brake rotor thickness before I need a new one? It's currently around .808" for both front discs.

Oops, I gave you the brake pad thickness.

It looks like it is 0.83 inches for the front rotors.

I think the front brakes were replaced 33k miles ago. PAhonda you're saying that the minimum front rotor thickness is .83" then it should be replaced? Where did you get this info? Can you refer an excellent online store for OEM and/or aftermarket honda parts for stuff like this w/ great prices?

If you are blow the "min thickness" yes, they need to be replaced.

There are manuals you can download, some are free others are very inexpensive. I think there is a seller selling them for ~$21....look at some recent posts by PA where he give the link.

For places to get parts, there are a ton of online dealers, there are some sponsors of this site you car look at as well.
