Default Front end rattle on 99 honda LX

Hello, My Wife has a 1999 Honda Accord Lx with 98K on it. It seems to rattle underneath going over road inperfections, really bothersome! The struts were changed out at 75k due to leaking. Here is the kicker. The struts have been changed again Twice on each side due to them being blown. I had Meineke change them originally, and they have changed them under warranty twice more. the rattle is back again, not sure if strut(s) are blown again!! What would cause this? Meinke says they are quality shocks, but factory gave a better ride. Its only been two weeks since last strut install, and driven about 20 miles a day on highway use. Could something else be wrong other than the struts?? THANKS!!! Mark.............................................. ...........

Worn anti-sway (stablizer) bar bushings can cause knocks and noise, particularly when one wheel moves up and other doesn't. Worn ball joints might cause knocking, but this would be unusual, unless the ball joint boots are damaged.

Honda OEM shocks are very good. I have no idea whether Meineke shocks are any good, however they should not fail in 2 weeks in any case. Poor installation leaves a lot of possibilities for problems. I would return to Meineke to correct.

good luck
