Default Front licence plate bracket 2017 Accord

Need some help please. Just purchased a 2017 Accord I need some assistance with instructions on how to mount the front license plate bracket. It came with a bracket but I don't see any type of screws or Clips included. I don't want to drill holes in the front bumper. Any suggestions?

They didn't give you screws? I think it screws directly into the plastic bumper-skin, but I never had a 2017.

I'm pretty sure they expect you to drill holes in the bumper cover. I would try to attach it another way. Maybe use some L brackets and attach them under the lip of the bumper where the lower grill is. Good luck. I'm glad Louisiana doesn't require front plates so my bumper can remain free of holes.
The bracket for my 03 Accord had a lip that would attach to pre-dilled holes under the lip of the bumper, where you couldn't see them, and they didn't go through the bumper cover. Stupid move to change that IMO, but it probably saved them a couple pennies.

Yup, same here in Michigan...no front plate state. I would think you should be able to look up a parts drawing of it from one of the Honda sites, and see how it al goes together. Maybe from a state like Texas that has a front plate requirement.

Take a look at the parts diagram on a site like hondapartsnow.com. It looks like the bracket screws directly into the bumper cover. You can always call your local dealership and ask them.

My 95 accord had tabs behind the opening, where you would put a nut/clip. Then the bracket would bolt underneath. Much better design in my opinion.

2017 Accord's OEM design uses self tapping screws.
