Front Passenger Power Door Lock Sticks
RE: my 2000 Accord EX-L sedan ( 4 cyl )
The following malfunction occurs intermittently during hot weather ( or when the car has been sitting out in the sun ). Never seems to happen at night or in cooler weather.
Front passenger door lock post will not go up or down or goes only partially up or down when activated by remote or the front door lock controls. I have to manually push the post down or pull it up. All other doors function normally.
Any advice on what is the cause and the fix would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Before you start taking off the door panel;
catch it in the act of binding and squirt some silicone spray around the **** and work it up and down.
You need to figure out if it is just a problem of the **** binding or if it is a motor malfunction.
