Frozen Locks
Good morning -- after a snowstorm and freezing temperatures, I am unable to open my 2007 Honda Accord door locks with the FOB key. (The trunk does open.) When I tried the key manually, the drivers' door initially opened a quarter inch, but not completely. I suspect the anti-theft system may be the culprit, as I scraped all around the door to break the ice. Unfortunately, something happened in the interim and I am no longer able to manually open this door even a little.
As you can probably tell, I'm not very car savvy and would love any advice. 1) Is there a short term fix so that I can go to work today? 2) Is this a problem that will solve itself when temperatures warm up, or do I need to bring it into the shop for more serious maintenance?
Thanks very much for any advice!

See youtube videos on "winterize your car" by briansmobile1. He discusses strategies for frozen door locks in one of these, but I don't remember which one
Chemicals (alcohol?) are used to melt ice and lubricants are added to improve lock movement is what I remember.
good luck

Other than the driver's door, does the other door(s) open with the remote? Is your car a coupe or sedan?
If only the driver's door doesn't open, the issue with the driver's door sounds like a latch issue. Wait and see if the door opens when the temps. warms up a bit.
