Default Fuel Filter

I've noticed my car's fuel efficiency isn't that well. I should be getting more miles per tank and have decided to do a little work to increase mileage. I got a distributor cap, rotor, new wires(incl coil wire), and a fuel filter. I was wondering whether I would need to reset the ECU once I install the new fuel filter? Also, any other mods to increase mpg would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No need to reset the ECU. DO make sure your tires are not low, I prefer to run 3psi above recommendation.
Got a trunk full of crap? That's more weight so unload it. Proper allignment can affect mileage. If your tires have a wacky wear pattern you might consider an allignment.

Driving habits affect MPG the most, google up some hypermiling sites for tips. Sounds to me like you're on the right track.

Just took the car to the tire shop about a week ago and they pumped them up after plugging one of my falkens. They even cleaned the outside and left the tires looking very nice I must say. Thanks for the response RTexasF.

What do you ride in Linx? Did you do the fuel filter your self? How hard is it?

Hey, sorry for this late reply(out of town). I drive a 92 accord lx 5-speed. The actual fuel filter replacement isnt such a big deal. It's getting access to it that sucks. You need to remove some the elec box on top and cold air intake if u want more room.
