Default Fuel Filter

Hello, I'm new to this forum and my 2000 accord has been acting up on me. When i accelerate from a complete stop mycar sort of jumps before going, not all the time though. I've ruled out fouled spark plugs and want to try changing my fuel filter before i begin to think about transmission. However, I am unable to find where the fuel filter is ! can anyone help me?

there is not a fuel filter like the earlier styles accord,, starting in 1998 it is inside the fuel tank,, it is more like a screen but it could get plugged as well , not very likely,, anyho... you need to remove the fuel pump to get to the screen filter

Attach a fuel pressure guage (if you have access to one) and watch the pressure when you accelerate from a stop. And yes the filter is in the tank.

yo lightshow my man make sure you know what you are talking about before you give advices ,,look things up yourself if not sure ,,people depend on us to give the correct information , we cannot just pull thing out of a hat ,,common my man you are better than that

the one you are talking about on the pass side firewall was for 90-93 ,, 94-97 it is below the brake master cylinder ,starting in 98 they put it in the tank ..
