Default Fuel line part number 90 Accord LX 4dr

I have a

1990 Honda Accord 4dr Sedan LX Auto

that had a gas leak...I took to line apart to fine the line itself is jacked...I am looking for a part number or something and all of the diagrams I have seen are not helpful. The nearest Honda dealer to me is 30 miles away and working evenings, it is hard for me to get over there, just to discuss this so any help is appreciated.

The line I am looking for connects to a banjo nut (i think is what its called) that is mounted to the frame near the driver rear tire/wheel well. The line runs from the banjo nut to the front of the car and when the key is turned on, fuel comes out of the banjo nut, which leads me to believe this is the fuel line that runs to the motor.
Anyway, the line itself seems to be plastic with a metal tube in the end with a flare nut on it. The flare nut is what goes into the banjo fitting. This is the line I am looking for. Does anybody have any idea what the part number is for it? The diagrams seem vague (or Im not smart enough to decipher them).

The line I am looking for connects to the bottom end of the line with the # 24 by it.

Hope to hear back and hope this isn't to confusing.

I think it will be number #10 on the diagram but I am not sure...if it is, the Honda Parts website says that it is no longer available...what to do?

Thank you...not used to the format on this one so I wasn't sure where it should go.

Part #10 is Honda part number 17700-SM4-A31, which looks to still be available on various Honda internet dealer websites.

I guess what I meant was, do you think that is the one I'm looking for?...as in the line that connects to the banjo fitting?

I'm with you on # 10 being that part number, just wasn't sure if that would be the correct line.

Installing that long length of fuel line will be huge challenge w/o a car lift. It must be possible, but sure to be difficult.

It might be easier to splice a new fuel line section near the rear using tubing unions. That's what I did on a Dodge Ram truck w/ lots of fuel line corrosion. You will need a tubing bender to bend straight sections to match the replaced section.

good luck

That is not very encouraging TexasHonda...however, I don't have a lift or tubing bender so on the ground it is...I already have the back end on jackstands and will have the front on my next day off...have to lay on my back but I have spent plenty of time under every vehicle I have ever owned on my back.

You can buy tubing lengths and unions at auto parts and they usually have a loaner tubing bender.

good luck
