fuel mileage issues 2002 Accord EX V6
I have a 2002 Accord EX with a V6 with 115,000 miles. I have changed spark plugs and installed a cold air intake but I am still just barley getting 25 mpg. Is there anything else I can do to get a bit more out of it or is 25 mph the best I can get.

Is the check engine light turning on while driving? Stop by a parts store to have them scan for codes.
You might want to lubricate the slide pins on the brake calipers to make sure they are releasing the brakes. I would use silicone paste or those packets of caliper grease that you can get at the counter at most parts stores.

Depending on driving habits, 21-25 mpg is not bad for around town driving in a V6. I would expect better on the highway continuously, perhaps 26-28 mpg. Aggressive driving and hills make a huge difference in mpg performance.
By way of comparison, my wife was driving an 06 Acura TSX w/ IL4 cylinder (same as Accord Ex engine) yesterday and was getting 35 mpg on I10 east of Pensacola. This car drops to about 26 mpg around town driving.
Near as I can till, a CAI only adds noise, not performance or efficiency.
good luck

I also have a 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 Coupe and I am getting about 14 MPG in the city. I do idle alot. I drive it about 5 miles round trip everyday. Is this normal because I idle so much or is there a bigger problem with my car? It has 101,000 miles and is completely stock. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not exaggerating at all about this. Change your transmission fluid to honda/acura dw-1. I just changed mine and big difference. Huge improvement in fuel economy to and 10k miles ago, I had spark plugs and timing belt done on my 07 v6. I drove 90 miles and only burned a quarter compared to 70 miles and a quarter burned.
