I don’t have to drop the tank, but I couldn’t tell the level that that fuel filler neck was sitting at, Although I didn’t have it in the air yet. I’ll get it down below quarter of a tank but hopefully that does the trick.

Especially if you set your jackstands higher on the left side of the car. Just make sure they're solid & won't fall.

Yup, that will make the gas go way from the filler neck connector.
