Default Fuel Types?

I just filled my tank tonight with 91 octane gass like usual. Will the engine perform worse if i move down to 89 octane or "regular"?

It may perform better and increase MPG on regular. If you have a 4 cylinder engine there's zero benefit above 87 octane.

what model of car? unless you got mods or a type S motor, 87 octane is all your engine requires. Using a higher octane fuel may ADVERSELY affect performance. Prime example is the J30a that looses 4HP and as much as 15ft lbs of torque when you use anything higher than 87
