Default Fuse or Light??

Accord 2004 LX no longer signals when ignition key inserted and driver door open or when headlights left on after ignition off. Also light near the bottom of the driver's door is out. Is the problem a fuse or just the door light in series with the other problems? If a fuse, I can't find it listed in the manual.

i think hes refering to the audible "chimes" the car makes when the door is open or when you leave your lights on

Stylee81 is correct. No chimes. No light. No ideas how to fix.

The door light may be a separate issue. If you have a volt meter, you can see if you have 12V across the pins for that bulb connector. You can look to see if the filament is burned out as well.

The chime problem may be more of a challenge to figure out. I would check the #7 and #21 fuses in the fuse box under the driver's dash. See attached pic.

Thanks PAhonda - According (no pun intended) to my owner's manual, fuse 7 is back-up lights. I have no problem with them. Not sure what #21 (IG Meter) means, so will check that one.

Check both of the fuses. I wasn't guessing at the fuses. There was a wiring diagram showing those two fuses protecting wires indicators.
