Smile General question

HI my name is Mike I have an 2004 honda accord lx and i need to replace a couple of things. Some of the things i need to fix but not sure if i should buy new or used.

The first thing that needs fixing is my front two headlights are foggy and i tried buffing them out. The previous owner scratched the hell out of them so i tried buffin them out but did not work. Should i look for used ones or buy new.

The second thing i need fixed is my hood has so rust damage and it needs to get replaced. Does anyone know were i could get a good one but not to expensive.

The third thing is i need two new bumpers i would perfer to get a new front bumper because it has some damage. I know all my back bumper needs is a new paint job but i am having trouble finding the paint color can you guys help.

The best thing to do for each of the things you've listed is to go to a local you pull it and see if you can find them. It would most likely be a lot cheaper than buying anything online. If you can't find the parts there try eBay.

What method did you use for cleaning your lights?

You can check car-part.com for used parts near your zip code, or ebay.

good luck

It shouldn't be too hard to find a 7th gen Accord in a salvage yard. You could even switch from the 04 front bumper to the 06-7 style, if you wanted to. Advance auto, or other parts stores have the Dupli-color spray cans that you could use to repaint the rear bumper.

If that don't work if you just search around the many many sites for new headlights you can surely get one for a somewhat good deal.
However, I myself would also go to a salvage yard and look first cause it is way cheaper.
