E- Do you know about a sunlight sensor circuit?

The sunlight sensor is on the dashboard. The HVAC control unit can detect if no current is running through that sensor. I don't know if a faulty sunlight sensor can cause the a/c to behave how yours is behaving.

The issue could be the sunlight sensor, the wiring/connector, or the hvac control panel. The only way to know is to do some electrical testing at the sensor.

I'd suggest to get the 03-06 accord shop manual from automanualsource.com for ~$22. It is worth the investment to see how to troubleshoot and access the sensor for testing.
