It goes Bump, Bump, Bump, Bump,...
Hey gang! I've got a 2004 Accord LX with 98k miles on it. I started to notice a bumping feeling when I'd accelerate. Happens around 20 to 30 mph and it sounds/feels like its coming from the front right wheel area. I thought it might be a bearing, bushing, or CV joint was the problem. I took it into my local mech this morning and he said he couldn't find anything on the outside and believes the trouble to be in the transmission. What you are your thoughts? Thanks for the help!!!
Noises and the internet, this will be fun....and don't take that the wrong way, your "bump" maybe a "thump" to me.
I would not go for the trans just yet.
Easy thing to try, have the tires rotated and balanced...does the noise go away or move?
Then, if still there, is this under any kind of accleration-slow fast, ect?
