Lowering & Cutting Bump Stops?

Default Lowering & Cutting Bump Stops?

I just purchased a set of Tokico Shocks/Springs dropping my 91 Accord somewhere in the range of 1.25" to 1.5". The instructions say I should cut the bumb stops in half. Do I have to do this or will I be ok not doing it.

most everyone i know who has lowered their car has done it.
it keeps you from bottoming the strut out on every bump.
you dont have too, but it doesnt hurt.

I recommend doing it so your suspension still has a decent amount of travel. It's easy, just use a razor knife to cut them.
