And keeping up with tech stuff is my disadvantage. Seems the old 95 Accord is ready to be replaced. Been looking at the 2013 love the look and decided I do want the V6 Automatic, just wish it came in cloth. Anyway I went with this because I think a smartphone will suffice for Navi and I can save a little money if my idea works.

The car comes with Bluetooth capability. If I use my smartphone for Navi purposes will in connect to the cars Bluetoothe and will the directions come through the car speakers?

 

If the phone is Bluetooth-compatible with the car, it should work.

Most smartphone navigation map apps have voice-guided directions. If you use the navigation app regularly, you may need an adequate data plan as the amount of data usage can vary. For example on one site, it says "10 mins is approx 6MB, however a data plan is advised if you use Google maps regularly because the amount of data you use can vary widely and depends on many different factors such as geographic area of use, zooming, layer toggling, etc."
