green eco light
On a different topic?? My 08 Accord V6 had a green eco light that came on on the instrument panel when the variable valve system kicked in. I don't see a similar indicator on my 2013 V6. Whats up??? Than mss.
There is something similar on the 2013 Accord, however, there is an ECON button to turn on ECO assist. You can see the technology guides for your applicable model trim here:

For V6 with VCM:
However, there is no direct indicator on the instrument panel of whether Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) is active between switching from 6, 4, or 3 cylinder combustion.
The ECON mode indicator on the instrument panel comes on when the ECON button is pressed. The ‘ECON’ button optimizes operation of the transmission, engine, and other powertrain components to help conserve additional fuel. For example, a gentler throttle pedal setting limits power and torque by a small amount. Also, air conditioning is set to consume less energy by operating more in the recirculation mode or reducing the speed of the automatic climate control blower.
VCM could be active and the ECON mode indicator light doesn't have to be lit, and vice versa.
Even on the 2008 Accord with VCM (Variable Cylinder Management), the ECO indicator on did not necessarily mean the VCM was active (for example, it can be running on all 6 cylinders and the ECO indicator can be on). However, if it was running on 3 or 4 cylinders, the ECO indicator would be on.
