Grinding noise from tire on 1994 Accord LX
Hello, Welp heres my problem:
I took my car to firestone for a free brake inspection, they advised my front upper right ball joint and control arm needed to be replaced.
That night driving home from work, i heard a snap from the front right tire followed by a rotational grinding that only became louder at slow speeds. The car dosent feel like its pulling much considering how horrible the sounds is. It really sounds like the wheel is metal on metal somewhere on the inside. I havent have a chance to look at it due to work and i just ordered the part mentioned above which firestone said i needed.
Does this sounds like a upper front right ball joint & control problem, or should i expect that i have another problem ahead of me?
All help and input would be highly welcome and i thank you in advance!

sounds tro me like the caliper might have fell of or the brake pad itself Exploded . it has happened before where the pad itself fails many of times from theose Auto part store Brand Cheap pads but if its grinding with the wheel rolling.. it has to do with a rolling part... ie : Rotor, Pads, Caliper, Wheelbearing, And so on . the upper ball joint isint a rotational part therefore your chear on that for now .. although it might have given out and made your tire lean in . and rub on something ... id pull the wheel off and check over all the rotating parts first before anything else
