Default h23a ecu question?

Hey so I've been looking around and couldn't really figure this out. I have an h23a vtec in my car, using my original accord ecu. The h23a ecu is just sitting around, and I want to know if there are any other motors that this would be compatible with. I really need the money and don't want to give this away for free, but nobody has the motor as mine. So if anybody knows what engines this would be compatible with, I would really appreciate it!

Can you give us the part number off of the H23a ECU? It should be on a stick will be something like 48310-P5P-305 or 37820-P5M-A02.

I hadn't even thought about the part number. Shows how much I know about computers. Haha

It is a jdm ecu, so I'm not sure if it'll even work with any usdm models. But it's worth finding out

I am not familiar with the specifics of your swap. Shouldn't you be using the H23a ECU for your car?

Yes, but the ecu was originally for an automatic tranny and I put the motor in a manual car, and everybody says the car won't work properly if I use that ecu. I'm saving up for a p72 and selling this would at least help a little. Almost nobody around here even knows what an h23a vtec is, so my only hope seems to be to sell it for a different motor.

You may want to post it in our classified section. Just follow the rules.

The engines section may be a better place to find out what engines that ECU will work on. This section is geared more towards problems on a stock setup.
