a radiator repair shop may be able to replace the upper radiator tank, but be sure they are a quality place that has a good reputation. otherwise, don't risk it, replace the radiator sooner than later.

Well I hope I can get it home tomorrow ..at least.
With all the advice I have received, replacing the radiator sooner than later is now a priority. With that said, I’m a novice at mechanics and have never replaced a radiator. Can anyone recommend a how to book?

Or pick up a manual where you buy your radiator.

Worst part of this job is pulling the electrical connectors and connector/supports on the fans. It can be a real bitch to reach and release the electrical connectors and release the electrical connector from fan support bracket. Patience and determination are essential.

good luck

OK Permatex makes this specific stuff called fuel tank/radiator repair and it runs about $6. it comes in a stick form and Ive never used it so Im not sure how well it works. JB weld, epoxy, or anything of the like will be a good temp fix, but if you got a crack in the radiator just replace it. I got a new radiator at O'reilly (before I worked at Advance) and it was $109..relatively inexpensive.
