Happy to be back, some issues when starting the car
Good day to you all. My Honda car I left two months ago seems difficult on starting. I think is the security I installed is causing the problem. Because the security installation was done through the electrical system of the car and I think is beginning to fail. it was installed 4 years ago. the battery power is very good and also battery terminals. Any other suggestions from you guys. I will check the spark plugs tommorow and also I will remove the security I personally installed. Thanks
Good day to you all. TexasHonda you are right the problem is coming from the starter not the security. I was able to fix the starter. the car is starting smoothly now. I will also later raise up the discussion on whether to use single or double cell radiator. But presently the car came with single cell radiator. THANKS
The starter solenoid is a relay allowing low current ignition key feed signal to drive starter. See starter circuit diagram.
If starter is not engaging and blk/wht wire to starter has a 12V start signal from ignition switch, the solenoid has failed. Only fix is a new solenoid (not readily available) or new/rebuilt starter (usually available).
good luck
