Default Hard downshift from 3rd to 2nd

2001 Accord V6 automatic transmission, 160k miles. Fresh Transmission Fluid (drain and fill) less than 10k miles ago. Shifts perfectly except for downshift into 2nd. It’s not slipping, but rpm’s build and then 2nd engages with a slam rather than a smooth shift. All other up shifts and downshifts are fine. I’ve seen lots of issues with this particular transmission, however no one has described this particular issue. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

What fluid did you use? People have reported harsh shifting (in general) with non-Honda ATF.

Purchased direct from Honda and done myself. Everywhere else in the shift pattern it’s great, just that one downshift.

Look at your shift solenoids; the screens could be clogged causing the hard shifts.
