Angry Hard steering

New to this decided to give it a try I have a Honda Accord 2007 exl v4 automatic with 225miles Changed my pump a couple of months ago with with brand new O dealer rings after whining noise steering wheel was never hard. Until a week I seen that my steering wheel was hard so checked for leaks turns out pressure hose was leaking switched it out but didn’t replace the sensor just installed the old one. My suspension is brand new from inner/ out tie rods to ball joins struts upper & lower arms. Ever since I replaced the pressure hose my steering wheel is so hard to turn to the right usually gets harder when turning at low speeds. My question is since I have no leaks could it be the sensor that needs replacement or could it be the rack? I check for leaks but I can’t find any on the rack I have to put a little bit of fluid every 3 days. Also pumped out the old fluid and replaced with Honda fluid. Mechanic wants to charge 150 for diagnosing it plus 800 for replacing the rack if its what’s wrong. It’s a pretty old car so not really interested in paying all that if it could just be a simple fix. Help would be pretty much appreciated!! Hey

What brand of power steering pump did you install? Was it a new or rebuilt pump?

If you can't find an external leak somehow getting into the boot, then there is leak somewhere in the steering rack.
