Hi all. New here. Have a 99 3.0L that my bro gave me after putting and 02 3.0L. Wiring did not jive so I have replaced all of the following harnesses and parts from the 02 donor car.

- both engine harnesses
- took whole dash out and replaced both harnesses in there, plus SRS harness
- both dash fuse boxes, included multiplex x2
- under hood relay/fuse box
- steering column to include key, ignition, and immobilizer
- air bags
- SRS unit
- ECM

I get no CEL or green key. Tested main relay, good. Checked ALL fuses. Have the Electrical Repair Manual. Went through every single ground. Swapped ECM with 99 one and DID get the lights. So immobilizer should be good. So I purchased a refurbished ECM. Now same problem. NO CEL or green key. What do I need to check next? I’m ready to part out the whole car… or light it on fire. Please help.

 

When you checked the fuses, did you use a test light on the top post to see if both sides have power?
