Default Has anyone ever seen this before!?? tierod sloppy on the threads

95 honda accord
first time jacking the car up i noticed the outer tie rod was very very sloppy where it screws onto the threads of the inner tie rod. (if there is an inner tie rod i havent checked yet) I unscrewed the outer tie rod which unscrewed right off with no tools. It was screwed on nearly all the way so that wasnt the problem. I was assuming the threads on the inner or outer were damaged but thats the thing they look just fine! I dunno if maybe the threads rusted down and used to be coarser? i checked the outer rod to the rod on the other side and it ppears to be the correct rod for the car and its stamped L and is on the L side. Maybe it goes to a different model? I must say i think this the first time ive seen this. It could have gotton someone killed...

We have to take care of friends

Check the other side, replace if needed, get the alignment checked after.
