Default Has anyone had success with non OEM rotors?

I'm going to replace my rotors. I had them turned the last time I replaced the brakes, but because they are thinner after they were machine, they are now warped. Everytime I hit my brakes I find my steering wheel wobbles. New OEM rotor's are about $70.00, I see that there are non-oem rotors for 1/2 the price. Are they any good, or should I just, bite the bullet, and purchase OEM?

T.A.S. Auto Parts carries an assortment of decent rotors- basically, you get what you pay for

Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking about Brembo rotors at Tirerack, but T.A.S. is a good product. Drilled rotors should disapate heat much better than solid rotors.

I've used solid Brembo rotors on a lot of cars with good success.

Drilled rotors aren't for dissipating heat better. They're for allowing the outgassing from VERY HOT brake pads. They're useful on the track, or else just for looks.

Thanks Jim for the feedback. I ordered the solid Brembo's from Tirerack. $103.00 to the door.

The only complaint I've heard about the Brembos is the rusting of the tophat. I would maybe paint that, and the vanes with some hi-heat paint. I'm thinking about new rotors on the next pad change. I would rather not get rotors online, but the only local choice I like is the NAPA UP with the black coating. If I do order from an online site, I'm thinking Centric with the black coating. Still have time to research.

Don't know if there is paint made specifically for that, but check it out.
