Default Have to jump car every time...

Hi everyone,
I have a 2003 v6.
One day, the radio was shut off as if I disconnected the battery, and prompts me to enter the code. Then I cleaned the battery terminals, input the code and started the car, and it starts, but it was a weaker start than normal. The car starts good after the radio shutoff and before I cleaned the terminals though. (I removed negative first, then positive, then put back positive, then negative) (I placed a dry rag on top of the battery terminals, will the rag conduct and shorten the battery?)

But the next morning it won't start. Made click-click-click noise. Had to jump it, and rode it for an hour on the highway and streets and went to school. Went back to the car after 6 hours, and won't start. Had to get someone to jump it.

Next morning the car can start on its own. But then I went to get gas - turned off car, filled gas, won't start ( I tested the battery, gave me around 11.8 volts).

What is happening? The battery is from 2009. Could a bad battery caused the radio shutoff?

Also, I don't know if this affects it, but I followed the HVAC blower fix by shorting the blower power transistor because my fan blower wasn't working 2 months back. Does shorting it have any bad effects to the battery? https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...-repair-40796/

Right now I'm at school and disconnected the battery. Hopefully it starts the next time I connect it.EDIT: didn't start, maybe because of cheap walmart battery, might get a kirkland from costco...

A 2009 battery is 3 years old. It's not unheard of to go bad in that time, especially in hot climates. And 11.8 volts is a bit low but I bet you didn't test it under load.
