head bolts

Default head bolts

dose anybody know the torque for the head bolts

its a 91 honda accord f22a1 i just need the torque

well actually it's a 3 step process and theres different torque each level

there is a speciall sequence (order) in which the bolts have to be tightened
if you want I might give you a pic of the sequence, however it might take me a while to do so.

dont forget to apply clean engine oil on bolt threats bolt heads and under the bolt heads

1st step : Torque - 40 Nm ( 29 Lb/ft )

2nd step : Torque - 70 Nm ( 51 Lb/ft )

3rd step : Torque - 108 Nm ( 78 lb/ft ) final

if you dont know the sequence reply and i will give you a picture otherwise we had a guy that replaced a head gasket and it was smoking like hell ... i think it might be because of improper installation.
