Default Head bolts reusable?

So I was under the impression that the headbolts on my f22a4 engine in my 90 accord ex were NOT reusable? Anyone know for sure?

I know for sure that the head-bolts in 1998 were reusable. The factory shop manual has a diagram for inspecting them. Basically, you measure the bolt's diameter where the procedure says (with a micrometer). If the diameter has necked down below the published spec, it needs to be replaced. All the bolts were OK when I did the headgasket on the 1998 we used to own.

I suspect it's the same for earlier years too. In the DIY forum area there's a post about download manuals.

I personally replaced mine, if money isnt tight I would recommend it. If I recall it was about $80 for new ones.

Oh, I thought you didn't find the post altogether. 1990 should be the same as 1991 or 1992. I don't have an Accord from those years so didn't remember which year has a manual in there.
